Frequently Asked

Questions

Does Jessica travel out to her clients?

Yes Jessica is available to travel out to brides and clients on the day, However travel costs may apply. It is best to contact Jessica directly for an accurate quote however you can find the base rates under the Services section.

When is it best to wash our hair prior to having it styled?

It is always best to speak to Jessica, as sometimes it is dependent upon what style you are after. In most cases if you are looking to have your hairstyle in an upstyle, it is best to wash your hair the day before the event or wedding. This means the hair is not too clean and will hold it style better, but also is not too dirty that it won’t look it’s best. This also means that the hair is dry and ready for Jessica to style when she arrives. If you are after a blowave or a style with volume, then it may be best to wash it just prior to being styled.

Can Jessica put a veil or headpiece in my hair?

Yes, Jessica can assist with putting your veil in. Just make sure you let her know prior to the day so she can allow the extra time.

I want my hair to be in great condition before the day so should I use a conditioning treatment?

It’s great that you want to take great care of your hair. Jessica recommends her clients don’t use a treatment 5 days before the event as it can make your hair too soft and may not hold the style as well. If you want to use a treatment, the week before is best.

I would love for my photos to be featured on your website, how do we go about doing that?

Jessica loves sharing her work through her blog posts. If you wish to feature on the blog, contact Jessica and she can send through the form with the information required for the feature.

Can you do a hair trial before the event/wedding?

Yes. Jessica recommends having your trial no more than 2-3 months before the event. This allows time for changes and future trials should you want them.
